Shying away from the attention of the other events on the day, Sunday 29th April also saw club man Cliff Fung shave a tremendous two minutes off his marathon PB all the way at ABP Newport Wales Marathon with a time of 4:08:39.
Cliff could be forgiven for taking it easy after all he’s given but this year he has already completed the Four Inns Challenge where he travelled 40 miles in over 11 hours and this latest marathon could even be seen as a bit of a warm up as he aims to tackle two marathons in two days when he goes on a Race to the Tower in June! Inspirational stuff!
