Over the last couple of weeks, the club’s esteemed Stuart Coe had noticed his wine cellar running a bit low. In order to remedy this state of affairs he duly decided to go off and run the Ashbourne 10 Mile on Saturday 24th March and then the Chasewater Easter 10K on Easter Sunday.
Suffice to say Stu finished first in his age category at both events! He bagged some super snazzy medals and a nice bottle of wine to enjoy alongside his Easter eggs on Sunday.
Even more amazingly however the club legend managed to beat his time at Ashbourne by five minutes from last year! Not incredible enough? Well the very next day he also ran the Desford 5 and also beat his previous year’s time!
