Well done to everyone who took part in the Woodhouse May Day Challenge on Monday 7th May 2018. On a hot day a field of a few hundred either ran or walked a scenic route that goes through the Charnwood Forest, Swithland, Bradgate Park and Woodhouse Eaves.
As well as giving participants a challenge, the event also raises money for local causes. The May Day Challenge is famous for its on course refreshments and a tasty lunch afterwards, not to mention tea and cake back at camp, and this year was no different in that regard!
Philip Chritchlow finished in 4th place for Beaumont and was 1st V50, while Eva Morant was our first lady back and 15th lady overall. Congrats to all our runners however as all the glaring sun didn’t deter them from enjoying what is definitely a favourite on the calendar!
