Members, Committee and Constitution
Open to adults of all ages and running abilities the club currently has just over 100 members (48% female and 52% male composition). A committee meets regularly to support the development of the club membership experience. This committee is made up of volunteers who take on various responsibilities to ensure the club runs effectively and be of benefit to members.

About the club
Based in the west of the city, Beaumont Running Club is an affiliated club of England Athletics and a founding member club of the Leicestershire Road Running League. It also competes in local and regional cross-country leagues, such as the Derby Runner and North Midlands Cross Country Leagues.
Conditions
We welcome you to try us out before you commit yourself to joining Beaumont Running Club. However we run under the following conditions – and these conditions apply to you if you run with us.
It is entirely the responsibility of each member (or non-member participating in the Club’s training or other activity) to satisfy themselves as to the adequacy of their own health and fitness to partake in training, or any other Club activity, and the Club accepts no liability for any illness caused directly, or indirectly, through such activities.
The Club accepts no liability for any injury to a member (or non-member participating in the Club’s training or other activity) caused by accident or any other cause.
The Club accepts no liability for any loss or damage of the property of members (or non-members participating in the Club’s training or other activity).
Club Timeline

The club is formed as Beaumont Leys Running Club and meets at Babbington College with 14 members.
10th Anniversary
10th anniversary with 114 members.
Club Move
Club moved to Kirby Muxloe Sports club for a brief spell before moving to New Parks Leisure Centre in 1999.
Name Change
Club changed name to Beaumont Running Club
20th Anniversary
20th anniversary with over 100 members.
30th Anniversary
30th anniversary with a healthy £5k in the reserves for club development and support.
Moves to Braustone Leisure Centre
Club moves to Braunstone Leisure Centre for its Winter base.
