Beaumont Running Club are proud to host the 2024 Markfield 10K.

This 10km race forms part of the Leicestershire Road Running League (LRRL) and is open to members of Leicestershire clubs who are affiliated to the LRRL and are 17 years of age and above on race day.
This race is a closed race and only open to the members of clubs that are part of the LRRL.
Members of LRRL clubs who do not have a current individual registration with England Athletics must pay the unaffiliated rate.
Venue: South Charnwood High School, Broad Lane, Markfield, Leicestershire, LE67 9TB
Start: 9:00am
Distance: 10km
Parking: Parking is kindly provided by South Charnwood High School. Car parking only at the school grounds – No parking on surrounding area or roads of the race and car share where possible (min 3 people). The car park will be closed until the end of race with a left turn only from 10:30am.
There will be signs to follow on race day and also marshals advising where the parking is. Once you are parked up please follow the signs to the registration area which will be in the sports hall on the school grounds.
Registration: From 8:00am at South Charnwood High School, Broad Lane, Markfield LE67 9TB. Space is available for club tents.
Toilets: Available on the school grounds
Headphones: Strictly prohibited for safety reasons, including bone conduction headphones. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
Route: The route is an undulating single lap road race through the villages of Markfield and Thornton, passing the picturesque reservoir. This is a left turn only course and will be signed and supported with marshals along the course. Water will be provided at the 4km point of the course and post race.
Refreshments: There will be a coffee van and cakes for sale after the race.
